What did I do the day before the Corona-19 lock down?

I feel as though I’m living in limbo. I am aware that there has been a siesmic shift in the world as we know it. The news needs to be sifted,as it is so heartbreaking 💔

I see the pictures coming out of New York, Spain,Italy and almost every other country in the world. The morgues are overflowing.Funeral homes are turning families away. There’s five minute funerals being held in certain cities.

How will we return to normal? What will that normal be? Generations to come will see this, 2020 as a turning point in history. In humanity.

The saviours are the health workers, law enforcement, the grocery store clerks and the cheap labourers that collect our garbage. These are the people that kept our society alive.

The day before lockdown, I visited the cemetery where my mother is buried. There was no special reason, it was enroute to another appointment. I said a quick prayer, admired the beautiful flowers on her grave. And thought to myself how much has changed in the last 8yrs….

As we left I noticed there was a van delivering wood to the burial site. Wood planks are used for Muslim Burials. I was slightly alarmed..but not so much. I thought did they know something we didn’t?

I think they new something we didn’t!
